The following is a text by my personal friend back in UK (London) – an English woman, educated, party-goer, activist, solid career as professional journalist with world-wide assignments to troubled / war-zone areas like Gaza & Iraq. She herself being a part-time trance DJ ; and I used to worked together with her organising massive dance parties across Europe some while ago. She was raised within a Christian family and faith.
9 months ago - after coming back to her London home from global assignment, she converted into Islam. Her name now is Aisha. She is currently active in telling the truth about Islam across the globe particularly in European Continents.
Anyway, I paste within her short text concerning Christmas Celebration and it’s Explanation :

I want to apologise if my words sound harsh.. I am very outspoken, my words are direct, sometimes blunt and sometimes sharp, but I mean no offense by what I say. My English accent and British born humour is seldom understood by those not from UK. BUT I want to make somethings clear… as a Muslim I am not supposed to celebrate Birthdays, Valentines day, Mothers and Fathers day… but in all honesty, even though I know these also have their roots in paganism, I don’t mind them so much, I don’t personally see any harm in showing appreciation and love for loved ones once a year. But Christmas, Easter and Halloween I have a big problem with because these pagan festivals are wrapped in the guise of Christianity and use Jesus pbuh as an excuse… all the other things like birthdays and so on, are not celebrated in the name of Jesus pbuh. As Muslims we love and respect Jesus pbuh, and I despise the fact that he is exploited for commercialism, greed and the promotion of satan himself in the guise of santa! As Christians, if you want to celebrate that, then thats your choice, all I ask is that you don’t force it upon me with 100’s of comments and tags.. or any Muslim. You know the truth, but still practice it, thats between you & GOD… but the Jolly Holly Muslims who join in this festival I’m sorry but you really need to wake up!
